DIRECTIONS: To make a 32 oz deli container, add 4 tablespoons (1/4 cup) of powder to 2/3 cup of hot water and stir until evenly blended. Add water or powder to adjust consistency. Tap the container bottom on a table to flatten out the media and allow to cool before adding excelsior and flies. NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION.
Store cultures between 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit. D. melanogaster should produce flies within14 days. D. hydei should produce flies within 21 days.
