INFRAGLO HEAT LAMP 50 WATT

The new VE InfraGlo carbon fiber heat lamps are a highly efficient alternative to the traditional Ceramic Heat Emitter style IR heat source.  Providing more IR-A and IR-B wavelengths mean better muscle absorption of the IR energy than the more tradition IR-C type sources.  This means you can often use a lower wattage bulb in the same application and achieve better efficiency, shorter basking times and more animal activity.  VE is the only manufacturer to provide a full line of these bulbs in 5 wattages to suit almost all needs!

These advanced elements provide virtually no visible light at all so are good for day and night use.  Only the very faintest reddish glow can be seen.

The VE line of InfraGlo bulbs is designed for all keepers from pro to hobbyist by offering the most wattage choices!  35W, 50W, 75W, 100W and 150W are available. 

These are compatible with most dome fixtures rated for 100W or more.  The 150W requires an 8" or larger dome due to physical size of the bulb.
